PRIVATE HEALTH REBATES
Most major health funds offer private health fund rebates for diet and nutrition consultations depending on your level of cover. HICAPS is available at all of our practice locations so if you are eligible for the rebate you can easily process your health fund claim on the spot.
Our Dietitian is a registered provider for Medicare. A Medicare rebate is available to all patients referred by a GP under an Enhanced Primary Care Program (EPC). An EPC from Medicare provides rebate for up to 5 sessions per year. Ask your GP about whether you qualify today.
DEPARTMENT OF VETERAN AFFAIRS (DVA)
Eatsense is a registered provider for the Department of Veterans Affairs (DVA). If you have a DVA Gold Card, and a referral from your GP, the cost of your consultation will be completely covered by DVA.
WORKERS COMPENSATION CLIENTS
Our Dietitian does see Workers Compensation Clients. We do require that approval from your case manager has been faxed or emailed to the dietitian prior to your appointment. If proof of approval is not provided at the time of the nutrition consultation then usual fees apply.
If you need to change or cancel your appointment, please contact us at least 24 hours prior to your scheduled appointment. This allows us to offer the appointment to patients on the waiting list. If you fail to give 24hrs notice a late fee will be charged. It is important that you arrive to your consultation on time.
