MOOD FOOD ROUND UP || Thank you to the 130 guests who attended last weeks seminar- Mood Food- which explored the relationship between diet and mood, anxiety and depression . It was a truly amazing night and it meant a lot to have everyone there. @edensedibles : When I was researching food and mood plant-based diets like the Mediterranean diet kept on popping up and I thought to myself how amazing would it be for attendees to go home with a box of fresh, organic, locally-grown produce that I know is going to have such a wonderful impact on their health and hopefully their moods too. Eden and his sister picked the produce fresh that afternoon and sold out on the night! Make sure you swing by and check out their page.

There will inevitably be days where you will eat more than others and that’s completely normal and healthy. When we look at the dietary intakes of people who tend to maintain their weight, their daily intake of calories is not consistent everyday and there is significant variation.

Remember to listen to your appetite and tune into your body’s signals. Don’t question it. Don’t doubt it. Don’t judge it. Don’t ignore it and definitely do not feel guilty about it and therefore try and restrict the following day. Your body knows what’s best for you, remember that.

Salad has never looked or tasted so good @cafemochabb. Next time you’re in the area make sure you try the Cajun chicken salad. 🥗 🥗🥗

SEMINARS || This month is a busy month with five seminars scheduled in between my clinic hours. That means lots of hours sitting, researching and typing so I can put forward the most relevant and up to date information.

There’s only six more sleeps until my sold out seminar mood food, which explores the link between diet and anxiety, depression, mood disorders and mental wellbeing! I have 140 eager attendees and an amazing group of sponsors who have jumped on board to support the event.

I get such a buzz from presenting to large groups and being able to have an impact on their health and wellbeing.
